"Last year we purchased a U7 Upright bike for our special needs daughter. Based on our experience when we needed a recumbent exercise bike Landice R7 was the only option. I have changed the pedals to Shimano SPD and now we can use biking shoes. This is a high quality exercise equipment and it is used a lot in our house."

My dad has Parkinson’s, he
"My dad has Parkinson’s, he had to go to rehab to learn to walk again after a long hospitalization. The rehab center suggested this bike so We bought it. After it was installed I noticed the back of the seat was loose. It turned out to be a stripped screw…Landice repaired it. During workouts the heart rate monitors in the grips would sometimes drop my his/my heart rate by around 50% which in turn would increase the resistance until I was gasping for air, then the heart monitor would begin working correctly. I contacted Landice again and their fix was to send out a wireless heart rate monitor. I tried it and it would not pick up my heart rate at all. I then went and purchased a Polar H10 wireless heart rate monitor (Polars best monitor) and it would not pick up my heart rate either. The worst part of this experience has been that my dad is getting to where he can’t walk again because the bike does not function correctly to help him function better. I ended up buying a Precor treadmill for dad to use. Understand that Landice does not offer returns, so we are out $3600 for a faulty product. Pros: Customer service has been excellent!"
